When you join the Forest Letters list, BigBadWonderland stores the email address you provide so we can send occasional story updates, woodland discoveries and project news.

How we use your email

We use it only for The Gnomes of Thuringia and related BigBadWonderland updates. We do not sell your email address. Brevo helps us manage the list and deliver these messages.

Website traffic

BigBadWonderland uses first-party, privacy-conscious measurements to understand how far the stories travel and which pages visitors find useful. We record page paths, general traffic source, country-level location, basic device category, campaign tags, and anonymous visitor and 30-minute session identifiers. The identifiers are stored as one-way hashes. We do not store IP addresses, precise location, or third-party advertising profiles. Your browser’s Do Not Track setting is respected.

Garden Guide photos

When you choose a plant photo for Oskar & Greta’s Garden Guide, it is sent securely to create that single AI-assisted report. BigBadWonderland does not keep the photo, and it is not added to your Garden Journal.

Your choice

You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any Forest Letter. Your choice is also recorded on BigBadWonderland so future mailings exclude your address.
